This is a take turn strategy game that I am developing for the iPhone. Basically, you move ships around a solar system, conquering all the planets. Each planet gives you some income and allows you to produce more ships there. Here is some of the art I have made so far. I'm working on the design doc right now. I might post it when I am done. Or at least more details about the project.

Heh, I will. Think I might use XNA for computer... or Irrlicht. I'll decide later. And the computer release might be first, so i can get the mechanics down, then convert to iPhone.

Didn't get much done last night because I fell asleep. Hopefully I'll have some cool stuff to post tonight.

It make me think in Konquest! a linux game I tried some years ago. I made a prototype in javascript of it. Turn based games like warlords and others are really addictive. So.. good look with your project.

Looks pretty similar to what I am going for, but I plan to implement some interesting new features. For one thing, I was thinking of adding some gravity effects, for example, you could slingshot around the sun in order to increase you speed and arrive at distant locations faster. Also I don't plan on making it grid based.
Oh, it is also going to be 3D. Or, more likely 2.5D.

Pause in development for the competition. Yesterday I forgot to post. I did actually get a lot of work done on some of the docs.
